Sealing of HOA Walkways

On Monday, July 20th, Black Velvet Paving & Seal Coating will be sealcoating our HOA walkways. This is routine maintenance to protect the asphalt, which has not been done in quite some time.

They have recommended that we do not use the walkways for 24 hours after completion.

For those of you who walk your dogs, please be aware of this time restraint.

Thank you for your cooperation.

HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION

HOA Board of Directors Election

Annually the membership of the HOA, at its Annual Meeting in October, elects members to serve on the Board of Directors.  This year two members' terms are expiring and due for renewal or completion.  These Board Members are Bill Griffin and Toni Pond.  (Both are eligible for re-election)

The Board is seeking residents to be willing to serve on the Board filling one of the open positions for a two year term.  The success of the HOA is dependent on the willingness of members to volunteer to be on the Board to manage the affairs of the Association.  Several residents have served in the past giving of their skills and expertise as Board Members.  We are asking that others volunteer to do their share as HOA leaders.

Residents willing to serve should make their interest known by contacting one of the current Board Members so their name can be included on the ballot for the Annual Meeting in October.  The names and contact information of current members is available on the website.

The target date for the printing of the ballot is September 1st.

Thank you for your consideration of this opportunity to serve.

Regards,

Hiland Crossings Board of Directors

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW REMINDER

April 16, 2021

Spring is finally here and we missed the snow this week! Many of us are thinking of the outside and planning our activities. Some of those  might involve upgrading/expanding your decks, a new flower bed, awning, screen door installation, etc.

Some may have never used the Architectural Review process. If you have any questions we will be very glad to assist.

HOUSE NUMBERS

Since installation of additional house numbers is a common request from homeowners, the Board of Directors has created the following installation requirements.  No ARC form is required provided the following standards are adhered to:

1.  House numbers need to be black in color.

2.  Numbers must be placed and centered above the garage door.

3.  Numbers must be purchased from Joseph P. Mangione, Inc., 75 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY, Phone number (518) 581-0048.  These are the same numbers as the ones placed on the front entrance pillars by the Michaels Group.

ROCK AND BRUSH DISPOSAL

Some disposal of rocks and brush has been occurring in the drainage area south of the development.  This area is periodically brush hogged to properly maintain it.  Anything, especially rocks and large brush, dumped into that area can cause damage to the equipment used to maintain it.  Residents are not to use that area as a disposal area.
